Prayer for Unity
Lord through Your Holy Spirit, help us to forgive those who have hurt us. Those in the Church, those in Society, those in our Work place and those in our Families. Lord there are times in our lives that we have hurt others, Lord forgive us. Lord we pray that you will give us a heart like Jesus so that we can forgive has He did, and a heart of humbleness to seek forgiveness. Lord we pray that through Your Holy Spirit you will touch the hearts of all Your priests in every Denomination and Community, to help them seek reconciliation, forgiveness and unity with each other. Lord it is only through reconciliation and forgiveness that we can come together in unity with You in the one body of Your Son Jesus. Lord it is only by working in unity with each other that the world will come to know that you sent Your only Son to be a living sacrifice for us, and to be a pathway to eternal life with you. Lord God you alone know the time of the second coming of Christ in Glory, Lord prepare our hearts through Your Grace. Amen

Eternal and merciful God, Who art the God of peace, and not of discord: Have mercy upon Thy divided Church, and grant that we, seeking unity in Christ, and in the truth of Thy Holy Word, with one mind and one mouth may glorify Thee, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Dedication Holy Father, enable us, we pray Thee, as members of Thy Holy Church throughout the world, to rise to the demands of our high calling, and to give ourselves wholly to Thee. Help us to hear Thy Voice speaking to us in the midst of the turmoil, perplexity and anguish of the present time. fill us with a passion for unity, according to Thy Will. Here and now we offer ourselves to Thee, for the unity of Thy Church, and the salvation of the world, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
