welcomes you to its website. It is our desire and prayer that
after browsing thoroughly the site, you will gain preliminary
understanding of who we are and why we exist as a school. It is
not by chance that you visit this site. God has always a way to
leading His people to where he wants them to go.

About
us
Mr. Jude Boateng Founder
of Jerk Educational Complex was
a teacher for ten years (10) and later quit to establish
his own business enterprise called JUBOAT VENTURES
|
|
|
I
managed this business for four (4) years and later had a
call from GOD to look after children more especially the
very vulnerable in his locality.
Jerk Educational Complex was established just last year on
August 24th 2006. It all started when I
discovered some orphans in my community and were crying
for assistance.
I was touched and decided to do something to bring hope back
into their lives. Because I don't have my own apartment I
discussed with my mother what was on my heart,
she to was touched and granted my request to
embrace these needy children by using her premises.
In
the cause of organizing the first four children of whom
three are orphans and the other one is from a poorer home,
some people latter saw the kind of Christian teaching he
is offering the children and decided to bring their wards
for perfect training.

The school which originally started with only four (4) orphans
increased to twenty five (25) within one month.
This forced me to abandon my room to be used as classroom.
Our
bedroom now the classroom.

quickly pulled my little resources
together
and built a small wooden structure. |
Now
the school can boast of 80 children and more people are
seeking for admission but due to the problem
confronting us, we have stopped the intake.

The children learn and play here but
because
of the dusty nature of the classroom,
the
children easily fall sick and are compelled to run
away
anytime the rain sets in.
In
consideration of some factors I accepted
and
became a school of this nature.

AIMS
AND OBJECTIVES !

To help the poor and vulnerable children in our society to acquire
education.
(2)
To bring happiness and hope to the needy.
(3)
To inculcate into the kids positive moral values based on our Lord
Jesus Christ .
(4)
To help reduce abundant street children in our society.
PROBLEMS
/ NEEDS
(1)
Building or structure to accommodate the increasing number of
intakes.
(2)
Inadequate teaching and learning materials .
(3)
Desk for students (the cost price per one is $10).
(4)
Feeding problems.
(5)
Vehicle to convey the students staying far away from the school's
site.
(6)
Lack of co-operation from the local people due to poverty.

would

Jude Boateng is a Roman Catholic and teaches the
children the Catholic Catechism as he has no educational
books or material as means of teaching them to read and
write. Please pray for him that he receives the support
he needs to teach these children.
