Within the body of Christ there is one faith, with many different groups, called denominations and their are some things we do that are very different from each other but we all share the same common beliefs that, Christ has died Christ is risen Christ will come again
1. As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling
you have received. 2. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one
another in love. 3. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the
bond of peace. 4. There is one body and one Spirit-- just as you were called to one
hope when you were called-- 5. one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6. one God and Father
of all, who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4:1-6 NIV).
Paul’s message of Christian Unity:
We are all worthily of one’s calling (v1b)
We all have the spirit of God for oneness in Christ.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all that sustains
the Unity of the Body.
In 2017 lets act on Paul’s message of Unity, by working closer together, witnessing
to our oneness and fulfil the prayer of Jesus:
“that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.
May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
